Nicholas Cheyne

Nicholas is a Director in BDO Auckland's Deal Advisory team, with a core focus on financial due diligence. He helps clients gain a clear understanding of the financial performance of a business, providing insights that support informed decision-making throughout a transaction process. Prior to joining BDO, he spent 15 years with other large accounting and advisory firms. 

Nicholas has worked on vendor financial due diligence for clients in New Zealand and Australia and has financial due diligence experience in the building materials and construction sector. He works closely with clients to identify key financial considerations and collaborates with other advisory disciplines to deliver integrated insights tailored to their needs.

He has extensive experience working across different territories and supports clients by bringing together the right expertise to help them navigate complex transactions with confidence.
