Greg Thomas

Greg Thomas is a Partner at BDO Invercargill, providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to commercial, agribusiness and rural clients across Southland. 

He advises clients on business planning, budgeting and forecasting, succession planning and taxation. He helps business owners understand their financial position, prepare for future opportunities and challenges and make well-informed decisions about their business. 

Greg brings additional perspective from his previous role as BDO Invercargill’s Assurance Services Partner, where he worked with a diverse range of businesses and organisations. His assurance and advisory experience gives him a strong understanding of financial reporting, business risk and the practical issues facing privately owned businesses. 

Greg also has responsibility for IT services within BDO Invercargill and advises clients on cloud accounting and other business systems. He helps businesses assess their requirements, select appropriate accounting and software solutions and implement systems that improve the quality and accessibility of their financial information.

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) - University of Otago
