BDO Business Wellbeing Index - May 2025 report

Looking closer at some of New Zealand’s leading business sectors, the outlook appears stronger for many. Agribusiness has seen a considerable increase in business performance sentiment compared to September 2024, and tourism and Māori business also experienced a reasonable boost. Meanwhile, construction business leaders have hit their lowest levels of positivity since our first survey in 2022.
