Ruth McGregor

Ruth McGregor is an Advisory Partner at BDO Wellington. She helps a wide range of clients, understand their numbers and plan for the future. Her expertise covers financial reporting, business performance measurement and virtual CFO services.

She provides timely accounting advice, providing a clear overview on how her clients’ business is performing. This involves building practical KPIs and management reports, prepare accurate financial statements, and put together budgets and cashflow forecasts they can measure progress against.

Ruth has worked across a broad mix of industries, including construction, commercial property, professional services and council-controlled organisations. She currently provides virtual CFO services to a number of not-for-profit organisations, taking on end-to-end financial support and attending trustee and director meetings to help keep their boards informed.

Ruth takes the time to understand each client's business and goals, and builds long-term working relationships rather than one-off transactions. As a Chartered Accountant, her practical and proactive approach gives clients confidence in the numbers behind their decisions.

• Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting
