Matt is a Partner based in our BDO Auckland, North Shore office. Matt has been with the firm since 2012, when he joined as an Intern.
Matt is in our Advisory team, which sees him working with a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. Matt has a keen focus on virtual CFO work, which he has been heavily involved in since 2016. This work requires providing timely and accurate financial information to his clients, while getting heavily involved in the strategic day-to-day decision making of their businesses. Matt's expertise extends to cashflow forecasting, business valuations, and tax compliance, where he ensures his clients are well-equipped to make informed decisions and meet statutory requirements.
His experience extends beyond New Zealand's borders, having undertaken a secondment at BDO’s Brisbane office. This international exposure gives Matt a distinctive edge, especially when advising businesses navigating the trans-Tasman commercial landscape.
