Brooke Rodriguez

Brooke Rodriguez is an Audit & Assurance Partner at BDO Wellington. She works with a wide range of businesses, with depth in the not-for-profit sector, including charities, membership associations, and organisations focused on Māori development.

Clients come to Brooke for a clear understanding of the accounting issues that matter most to their audit, such as donation, bequest and grant income, consolidation across branches and entities, and service performance reporting under Tier 2 Public Benefit Entity standards. She works with management and governance teams to help resolve these issues with confidence ahead of sign-off.

Brooke has audited organisations across the charitable, education, retirement village, health insurance, credit union and public sectors, and has worked with a number of organisations focused on Māori development. She holds a current Certificate of Public Practice, is a fully licensed auditor with the Financial Markets Authority, and is a qualified, Office of the Auditor-General approved auditor.

Brooke takes a hands-on, relationship-focused approach, investing time in understanding each organisation's needs. She takes overall responsibility for audit strategy and delivery, coordinating planning and communications, and ensuring significant accounting and audit matters are resolved and communicated clearly to management and governance bodies.
