Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival is a melting pot of shared experiences, whakaaro, live entertainment and kōrero every March, celebrating the very best of arts and culture for the people of this diverse city, by artists doing incredible things from Aotearoa and around the world. As Operations Partner, BDO is proud to support this iconic Auckland event.
AAF is on a mission to make Auckland an amazing place to socialise and be entertained in. Whether you're discovering the city for the first time or rekindling your love for its hidden gems, there's something for everyone at the festival.

BDO Auckland is pleased to support Auckland Pickleball Centre, Auckland’s first, purpose-built pickleball venue based in Mount Wellington, by way of court sponsorship.
Pickleball is a rapidly growing, accessible paddle sport combining elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, played on a small court with a net, paddle, and plastic ball. Ideal for all ages and skill levels, it features underhand serves, a "kitchen" (non-volley zone), and quick, 15-minute matches.

BDO Auckland is delighted to support the KBB Music Festival, the biggest youth music festival in New Zealand and an iconic part of the Auckland music scene for over 40 years. Held in August each year at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell, the week-long festival involves over 5000 young musicians from more than 50 high schools and culminates in two sold-out Gala Concerts.
The KBB Music Festival provides an environment where young people of all abilities can play and share music together, inspiring each other while promoting the growth and development of instrumental ensemble music. By celebrating and performing a diverse range of musical styles in professional venues, the festival builds vibrant communities and fosters a lifelong love for live performance. Furthermore, it extends this impactful network of support by offering professional development opportunities to the music directors and teachers who guide these young musicians.

The BDO Auckland team has been honoured to participate in a variety of community days with various organisations, including Guardian Angels, Life Church, Motuihe Island, The Neurological Foundation of New Zealand, Variety – the children’s charity, and West Auckland Hospice.
Supporting the communities we work in is an important part of doing business at BDO. At Christmas (2025), we are delighted to donate to;
The team are also collecting items for Auckland City Mission and Pet Refuge that will be delivered to the respective organisations prior to Christmas.
