BDO client wins Healthcare Award

BDO Auckland is proud to support the annual New Zealand Primary Healthcare Awards | He Tohu Mauri Ora and is the naming rights gold sponsor of the BDO Business Achievement Award. The BDO team, led by Gina Cook and Rachel Shoebridge, hosted clients at the Awards recently to celebrate the achievements of healthcare providers throughout NZ in a uniquely glitzy ceremony for the industry.

With Minister of Health Hon Andrew Little in attendance it was a fantastic opportunity to recognise all finalists but particularly Tāmaki Health, a BDO client, who was awarded the winner of the BDO Achievement Award for showing incredible resilience to maintain viability and the ability to thrive in the face of adversity.

“Their leadership provides a great example to all of us as we look forward to the exciting opportunities the upcoming health system reforms present. The success of award winners is particularly noteworthy when you think back on the extremely challenging time they faced responding to the pandemic, while simultaneously introducing the exciting initiatives they were recognised for.”
- Hon Andrew Little

Gina is particularly proud of how the BDO brand is now synonymous with supporting healthcare providers and says;

“Being involved as a sponsor of these awards and seeing all the great work that is happening within this industry – especially after the year we’ve all just had – is a fantastic way for us to continue to support healthcare and recognise those that may not otherwise receive recognition.  Well done to all award nominees and winners”.
