The transaction involved Altered Capital acquiring a 75% interest in Echo Tech, enabling the business to accelerate its expansion into key regions across New Zealand, including Christchurch, while continuing to invest in innovation, growth, and climate‑positive operations.

The investment supports Echo Tech’s ambition to expand access to sustainable e‑waste solutions across underserved markets nationwide.
