Geoff Potter

Geoff is an Audit & Assurance Partner in our Wellington office with 20 years of experience in providing audit and assurance expertise to a wide range of organisations.

A former career in the hospitality sector involving a diverse range of roles ensures he maintains a strong customer service orientation about everything he does. Through this career, Geoff also has first-hand experience of some of the challenges small and medium enterprises face. In particular, dealing with fraud, business restructuring, employee management, strategic planning and management reporting.

While Geoff specialises in the Not-For-Profit sector his audit experience is with a diverse range of clients including Public Sector, SME for-profit, multi-national corporations, unions, national associations, charities and member benefit entities among others. Industries of specialisation include charities, horticulture, manufacturing, distribution, retail, hospitality, national associations and trade unions. Primary service expertise includes external audit and assurance, internal audit, operating and internal controls reviews and fraud investigations.
