Andrew McKay

Andrew is a Business Restructuring Partner specialising in Forensics. Based in the Auckland CBD office, Andrew joined BDO Auckland in 2015 through our merger with Corporate Finance Limited, a specialist forensic and business recovery practice.

Andrew also has 10 years’ experience in the commercial sector including five years as a financial controller. Andrew’s corporate background gives him a unique insight into day-to-day business operations.

Andrew’s background includes experience in all manner of business recovery assignments, both large and small, and across most sectors of the New Zealand economy.

His forensic work has involved many assignments involving insurance quantum assessments across many insurance policy types (including investigating fraud and fidelity claims, commercial disputes and contract evaluation for cases involving breach of contract and torts).  He has also given expert evidence in the District and High Courts in New Zealand.
