So… you have commenced study towards an accounting degree and on top of the worry about exams and student debt, you are also worried about gaining work experience over the summer. HOW TO JOIN THE BDO FAMILY?

Every September, BDO offers a graduate and intern programme to students at the end of their first year of study. An internship provides the opportunity to spend the following two - three summer breaks working in our office in paid employment (along with the interns that joined the programme over each of the previous two years).

At the end of successful study, interns are offered full time employment along with firm support to complete the Chartered Accountancy programme. Our Graduate programme was setup to support and grow our future business advisers of Taranaki and encourage locals to return home after completing their study.

We value being able to grow and develop our own staff to strive for our high standards in Audit, Tax and Advisory services. Along with our study support programme, we are at the forefront of learning and international trends in accounting.
